Join us for Mass in American Sign Language with Fr. Chris Klusman from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee at 5:30pm, Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Geddes Hall Chapel. Mass will be followed by a lecture at 6:30pm in the Eck Center Auditorium, Ephphatha: Deaf Catholic History and the First Born-Deaf Priest with Dr. Lana Portolano from Towson University (ASL interpreted). Her lecture will focus on the vocation story of Abbé Charles La Fonta, the first documented case of a Deaf man who became a priest.
